
Under the management of the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry, General Directorate of Agricultural Reform, Department of Soil Conservation and Land Evaluation, and under our contract; within the scope of the “Turkey Climate Smart and Competitive Agricultural Growth Project – Soil Survey and Classification; Soil Analysis and Preparation of Detailed Digital Soil Maps Work”, the “Identification of Agricultural and Non-Agricultural Areas” across 574,001.77 hectares and “Physiographic Map Drawing” across 279,658.55 hectares in the districts of Bağlar, Çermik, Çınar, Çüngüş, Ergani, and Kayapınar in Diyarbakır province have been completed.
Field inspections of the Physiographic Map Drawings and Agricultural – Non-Agricultural areas were carried out under the leadership of the General Directorate of Agricultural Reform Diyarbakır Lot-5 control team and our Project Consultant Prof. Dr. Yusuf KURUCU. Additionally, briefing meetings regarding the project and field work were held with district directorates and village local heads.
